About Ke’e Beach

Ke’e Beach marks the beginning of the Na Pali Coast and the famous Kalalau Trail. Explore tranquil waters, amazing snorkeling, and a perfect location to swim. This is a great beach to spend a day with friends – it has picture-perfect sand and good conditions most of the year. Try and avoid swimming during peak winter seasons.

This crescent-shaped bay is a popular destination for turtle watching as well, they often hang out in the calm waters. Check out the tide pools, but use a bit of caution near these if you have young kids playing near them. High tide makes them a bit less forgiving.

Getting To Ke’e Beach – Directions

To access the beach, you should drive west on Highway 560 from Hanalei. Come to a stop at mile marker 10. As always in Hawaii, arrive early to secure parking and beat the crowds.

Ke’e beach is a popular spot for many activities during the summer months. The water is usually calm, making it perfect for swimming, wake surfing, bodyboarding, and kayaking.   • Shuttle reservations are available

  • Cell service is unreliable near the park. Make sure you have your reservations in place before heading to Ke’e Beach for the day
