WHAT TO EXPECT
DAY OF TOUR
you will head down to our office at check-in time here at Port Allen Marina Center to join us on our power catamaran ‘Imiloa. Check-in with our reservation staff and get ready to depart. Make sure you have everything you need. Sunblock, hats, sunglasses, towels, & a light jacket for the wind. If you forgot anything we have plenty of options in our retail store.
will brief you on the vessel, the day’s weather, and his/her plan for the trip. You will be introduced to your two friendly crew-mates as they help you get seated and ready for departure. The seats on ‘Imiloa all face forward. They are heavily padded and have compartments to store small items in front of you such as phones and small cameras. There is space under the seats for small bags. These compartments are not waterproof, Your belongings are not likely to get wet but could get splashed or sprayed by rain☔ or sea. Please do not bring anything that would be upsetting to get wet. We sell waterproof phone cases at the office.
ONCE YOU’RE UNDERWAY
our crew will be handing out light appetizers, juice, and water (Alcohol available 2020!). Relax, enjoy the view and listen to the Captain on the speakers telling you history and legends of the beautiful Kauai Coastline. Keep an eye out on the horizon for dolphins, sea turtles, flying fish, and *whales (december-march). If the Captain sees any marine life he will slow down in order not to disturb it, which helps for a better view.
OUR DESTINATIONS HAVE SO MUCH TO OFFER.
It is almost impossible to not notice the first peeks of the Napali Coast that starts at the end of Polihale State Beach Park. A long white sand beach ending in a sheer towering cliff face. The Napali Coast only gets more magnificent from that point on. The mountains get taller and you start to feel smaller as you enter this prehistoric remote part of our planet. Photos really don’t do it justice. Sea caves, waterfalls, lush valleys, and beautiful sea birds.
South Shore (Kipu Kai):
Some people call this part of the Island our mini Napali, but it truly has its own magic to offer. Green like you have never seen and towering peaks that meet the water’s edge. Beautiful remote beaches and great opportunities for photos.
AFTER AN AMAZING DAY ON THE WATER
the cruise home will be complemented with heavy Hawaiian style pupus (appetizers), (beer & wine coming January 2020), music and the continued beautiful scenery as the sunsets.
‘Imiloa has beautiful underwater lights on the bottom of her hull that light up all the little fish and marine life that come out at night. The lights create a magical entry when you return back to port.
The whole team here at Kauai Sea Tours is dedicated to making sure your experience with us is the best possible. We like to thank all the hands that go into making this tour happen every day. We are so excited to have you join us and look forward to meeting you!
