What To Wear On A Kauai Boat Tour
Looking for a fun activity like whale watching during your stay in Kauai? Our Kauai Sea Tours are a great way to experience that! While there is no dress code per se, we recommend dressing comfortably and appropriately for the weather. In general, dressing in layers is best as our tours can last from 3 to 6.5 hours and the weather and temperature can change quickly on the water.
What To Wear On A Whale Watching Tour
For our whale watching tours, we recommend light layers that you can easily add or remove, and comfortable clothing. Please keep in mind that while we do have a restroom onboard our catamaran tours, there are no changing facilities.
The sun can be very strong on the ocean, so you’ll want to wear sunscreen and a hat or visor. Sunglasses are also highly recommended. When it comes to sunscreen, please make sure you choose a sunscreen that is reef safe! We want to protect our oceans for future generations to enjoy.
If you are going on a raft for your whale watching tour, you should wear clothes you won’t mind getting wet in. Just as with our snorkeling tours, a bathing suit or rashguard with shorts or a skirt might be your best option to fully enjoy the experience.
As with our snorkeling tours, we provide life jackets for everyone on board for all of our tours.
What To Wear On A Snorkeling Tour?
We recommend a swimsuit or a rashguard, along with something to cover your legs. You will be getting in and out of the water multiple times, so a one-piece swimsuit could be more comfortable for you. If you have long hair, we recommend tying it back to avoid it getting in the way while snorkeling.
You should bring a towel, sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses. We provide life jackets for everyone on board, but if you have your own personal flotation device you are allowed to bring it. For the ride back, you may want to bring a hoodie or a light jacket to stay warm from the ocean breeze.
What To Wear On A Sunset Tour?
When choosing one of our sunset tours it is best to dress comfortably and bring a light layer or two. While out at sea enjoying the beautiful sunset, the temperature will go down and you may want to put on a sweatshirt or a light jacket. It’s important to keep in mind that temperatures can be much cooler on the water than on land.
We hope this helps you decide what to wear on your whale watching tour with Kauai Sea Tours! If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us. Aloha!
